I print 4x6 pictures from my Canon CP900 Selphy via USB flashdrive (off the computer). With my Mac Mini under Yosemite (10.10.5), I've found that pics exported as .jpg from Photos, Preview, and Gimp all fail to be recognized by the printer. All are in RGB format.

SELPHY CP910 Drivers & Software page. After downloading and running the file, skip to step 5. Double-click the disc icon on the desktop or in the sidebar. Double-click on the Driver folder. Double-click the package file. Follow the on -screen instructions to install the printer.

The Selphy manual says they should be Exif .jpegs, and Gimp gave a choice in advanced settings of saving with Exif and/or with XMP. I tried either, neither, and both with no difference.

I processed the same photos through Photoshop on my old Mac G3 (OS 10.2.8) and they are recognized and print fine. Has there been a change to the default .jpg standard(s) that renders the newer files unrecognizable, and is there a fix?
