Therefore, if you download a file from the Internet using any browser, the file is automatically saved in the Downloads folder. Sep 11, 2017  Have installed twice, with a message saying installation was successful. Only my old version of Office, 2008, is there. Can't find Office 2016 for Mac after Installation. Confirm if you only install Office 2008 on Mac. Thanks, Qing. If you feel a reply works for you, please kindly vote or mark it as it will be beneficial to. Hello I recently bought an EOS Canon Rebel T6 and it's been imposible to install any of canon softwares to my mac. I went to canon's support page and tried to install the latest updates and that didn't work either. What happens to me is after I launch the installation a box appears saying extractin.

Ok, so I installed this program:
http://livestreamer.tanuki.se/en/latest/
using terminal commands. I belive the program installed as it should, but I can't start it they way the guide tells me to:
livestreamer twitch.tv/day9tv best
I get the error livestreamer: command not found
I'm guessing that this has to do with the fact that the program is not added to my shortcut list (.bash_profile). But I have no idea of how to add the path manually since I dont know where the program installed...
Is there a standard place programs like these are installed? Or perhaps someone not as retarded as me that understands where it installed?
Any help would be appreciated!

How to get updates for macOS Mojave or later

Can't Find Installed Software Mac Download

If you've upgraded to macOS Mojave or later, follow these steps to keep it up to date:

  1. Choose System Preferences from the Apple menu , then click Software Update to check for updates.
  2. If any updates are available, click the Update Now button to install them. Or click ”More info” to see details about each update and select specific updates to install.
  3. When Software Update says that your Mac is up to date, the installed version of macOS and all of its apps are also up to date. That includes Safari, iTunes, Books, Messages, Mail, Calendar, Photos, and FaceTime.

To find updates for iMovie, Garageband, Pages, Numbers, Keynote, and other apps that were downloaded separately from the App Store, open the App Store on your Mac, then click the Updates tab.

To automatically install macOS updates in the future, including apps that were downloaded separately from the App Store, select ”Automatically keep my Mac up to date.” Your Mac will notify you when updates require it to restart, so you can always choose to install those later.

How to get updates for earlier macOS versions

If you're using an earlier macOS, such as macOS High Sierra, Sierra, El Capitan, or earlier,* follow these steps to keep it up to date:

  1. Open the App Store app on your Mac.
  2. Click Updates in the App Store toolbar.
  3. Use the Update buttons to download and install any updates listed.
  4. When the App Store shows no more updates, the installed version of macOS and all of its apps are up to date. That includes Safari, iTunes, iBooks, Messages, Mail, Calendar, Photos, and FaceTime. Later versions may be available by upgrading your macOS.
